PRE-PRIMARY (PP1 AND PP2)

At Sunrise Royal and Junior Secondary, our Pre-Primary section follows the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) system, providing early education to students in pre-primary and lower primary levels. The pre-primary stage consists of two years (PP1 and PP2) before students progress to the next level. Through interactive teaching methods and engaging activities, we aim to foster holistic development and instil a love for learning in our young students.

 Requirements for Admission

  • Child must be of 4 years of age and above
  • NEMIS number and assessment number for those registered with the Ministry of Education
  • A Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Passport size photographs of the Learner.
  • Filled and signed admission form
  • Copy of Immunization Card
  • Copy of parents/guardians ID card/passport
  • Uniforms are available in the school

UPPER PRIMARY (GRADE 4,5 AND 6)

Upper primary education consists of grades 4, 5, and 6, spanning three years before students’ progress to the next level. The curriculum covers a range of subjects providing students with a well-rounded education that promotes their academic, personal, and cultural growth.

Requirements for Admission

  • Child must be of 6 years of age and above
  • NEMIS number and assessment number for those registered with the Ministry of Education
  • A Copy of Birth Certificate
  • 2 Passport size photographs of the Learner.
  • Filled and signed admission form
  • Copy of Immunization Card
  • Copy of parents/guardians ID card/passport
  • Uniforms are available in the school

LOWER PRIMARY (GRADE 1,2 AND 3)

Lower primary education comprises grades 1, 2, and 3, with graduation marking the transition to middle school. Upon completing this level students graduate and transition to the next phase of their education in middle school.

JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL (GRADE 7)

Our Junior Secondary School program in Grade 7 offers a well-rounded curriculum that prepares students for academic and personal growth. Our curriculum aims to develop students' language skills, scientific understanding, mathematical abilities, social awareness, practical skills, and physical fitness. Through this comprehensive approach, we strive to nurture students who are academically proficient, socially responsible, and equipped with essential life skills.
